The site presented severe structural and zoning constraints. Strict Central Vista regulations prohibited altering the historic west facade or erecting permanent light towers exceeding 12 meters, to preserve unobstructed views of India Gate.

Furthermore, creating a massive, column-free VIP gallery, a 22-meter cantilever roof, and a two-tier basement parking facility underneath full-capacity grandstands required precise structural stabilization under aggressive international event deadlines.
